IC-A120E Ground Support Airband Vehicle Radio

Icom’s IC-A120E ground-based panel-mount vehicle airband radio is the successor to the best selling IC-A110EURO airband transceiver. Aimed at airport ground crew vehicles, this model features both 8.33kHz and 25kHz channel spacing, plus the latest noise cancelling and Bluetooth technology.

200 Memory Channels with Channel Name
The IC-A120E has 200 memory channels to store often used frequencies with 12-character channel name. With a high contrast dot matrix display, operating channels can be selected quickly and recognized easily. You can instantly program memory channels without requiring PC programming.

Active Noise Cancelling
Built-in active noise cancelling reduces background noise to up to 90% of the received signal and 30% in the transmitted signal. In addition, The ANL (Automatic Noise Limiter) reduces pulse-type noise such as an engine ignition. These functions are effective in extremely noisy airport environments full of aircraft noise.

Optional Bluetooth Unit
When the optional UT-133 Bluetooth unit is installed, the IC-A120E can be used with a third-party wireless Bluetooth headset. When used the optional VS-3 Bluetooth headset, the side tone function is available for monitoring own transmitted voice.

Side Tone Function
When using a third-party headset with the optional OPC-871A headset adapter, the side tone function allows you to monitor your own transmitted voice via the connected headset. Even when using a hand microphone, your voice can be monitored from the headset.

IP54 Dust-Protection and Water Resistance
The IC-A120 has IP54 dust-protection and water resistance, allowing it to be used in wet and dusty conditions.

Optional Speaker-Microphone, HM-217
You can pull the speaker-microphone close to your ear to listen to received voice in noisy environments. The programmable buttons (P1/P2) on the front panel can be used as a shortcut to activate frequently used functions.

Convenient ON-Hook Scan Functions
The ON-Hook scan function automatically starts scanning when the hand microphone is hooked on the microphone hanger. The ON-Hook dualwatch function checks the priority and operating channels alternatively while ON-Hook. When you take the microphone OFF-Hook, the scanning stops at the priority channel or displayed channel, according to the pre-programming.

IC-A120B VHF Aviation Base Station Radio

The Icom IC-A120B VHF Airband Ground to Air Base Station radio provides quality ground to air communications from an office or air traffic control room tower. Housed in a smart, compact enclosure (133 mm x 185 mm x 200 mm, H x W x D) with its’ own power supply, this base station is an ideal solution for airfields and local airports to keep in communication with ingoing/outgoing aircraft.

Capable of free tuning across 8.33kHz/25kHz frequencies
The IC-A120B is already pre-tuned with 8.33kHz/25kHz channel spacing, meaning you are able to free tune across the frequencies.

Compact, smart enclosure (133 mm x 185 mm x 200 mm, H x W x D)
Due to the compact enclosure, this base station can be tucked away on a desk in a control room or be placed anywhere that a mains supply point is available.

Includes own power supply unit – converting 240V AC to 13.5V DC.

IC-A210E Ground to Air Panel Mount Radio

The IC-A210E is a panel mount radio that succeeds the IC-A200 which was a popular fit in ground support vehicles in the aviation industry. This ground to air transceiver has the capability to work on both 8.33 kHz and 25 kHz channel spacing frequencies. It features a modern OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display offering many advantages in brightness, vividness, high contrast, wide viewing angle and response time compared to a conventional display. In addition, the auto dimmer function adjusts the display for optimum brightness either during the day or night.

25 kHz/8.33 kHz Dual Channel Spacing
In addition to the widely used 25 kHz channel spacing, IC-A210E is also compatible with 8.33 kHz channel spacing. With this dual compatibility there is an increase in the number of channels available.

Large, Bright OLED display
The IC-A210E has an organic light emitting diode (OLED) display. The OLED display emits light by itself and the display offers many advantages in brightness, vividness, high contrast, wide viewing angle and response time compared to a conventional display. In addition, the auto dimmer function adjusts the display for optimum brightness at day or night.

Easy Channel Selection
Selecting memory channels in the IC-A210E is fast, easy and efficient. The “flip-flop” arrow button switches between main and stand-by channels. The dualwatch function allows you to monitor two channels simultaneously. In addition, the history memory stores the last 10 channels used and allows you to recall those channels easily.

12V/24V DC Power Source
The built-in DC-DC converter accepts a 12/24V DC power source. The IC-A210E can be easily installed and adapted to most vehicles.

Easy Installation
The IC-A210E is the same size as Icom’s previous panel mount, IC-A200. This means it can be interchanged with most predecessor radios now ending their life. Two types of rear-panel adapters are included, allowing you to replace it without soldering.
